James Bond has somehow managed to escape the contextual restraints of the Cold War and constantly renews his imperative of maintaining power and wealth at the expense of diplomacy in each subsequent adventure... Similar to our current oligarch's foreign policy.

Pfff, you're just envious (and scared!) of his success with scantily clad women and bamboozled by his hard-nosed assertiveness.
He's a hypocritical bastard, to be sure. But yes, from time to time, I admire his suits. Ooooh.
